color me.

the silence in this room

overwhelms the heart.

the air tastes like poison

but it's worth it.

it's worth it to be with you.

his eyes sparkle

like the moon outside.

they're in a glance

a glance at heaven.

i wonder what he thinks of

when we talk.

i think its about her.

and that her being me.

let's travel to better times

let's make an escape.

let's be something better.

one of the goals that i would like to achieve, if i were to achieve anything, would be knowing how to let other people know that everything happens for a reason and we do things to better ourselves. i have known so many people who have gotten their heart broken. they cry and ask me why it was them that had to be hurt. they want me to despise the boy/girl that's draining the tears from the swollen eyes and i really have nothing to say. i would like to tell them it's going to be better but i can never promise that. i can say that they are the victim. all these would not catogorize as something i would say, though. of course, i would say something along the lines that the person that broke their heart is a real ass, but that's not the real answer.

i am a strong believer that everything and everyone that comes into our lives is there for a reason. sure, they could hurt us and make us feel worthless. but can also show us love and caring that we only dream about. people come for different reasons. and the way we remember them is the same.  no one is going to be there for us all the time. no one can always be there to know the answers or the right words to say. 

you've had the worst day. you're best friend, or so you thought, has ruined your life by spreading a rumor or saying something nasty about you. it feels like the whole universe is against you and the aggravation builds in your brain. at the moment, this person has ruined your life. at this moment, this person has bettered you. we will all have our hearts broken every once in awhile. but when this happens, don't we become stronger? don't we become wiser? yes, we do. although, you feel empty and hopeless, this person has made you better. you now know who you can trust with your heart. you now know who you can share your life with.

you have met the most amazing boy on earth. he treats you like a princess and you feel like one as well. his forehead kisses and smile makes your knees go weak. you feel like nothing in the world can stop you. you think that all he is giving you is love. but you are wrong. he is showing you its ok to love someone unconditionaly. he is giving you the power to care and love someone to the point that you have given them the ability to as well. this love is continued. we all recieve this love at least once. we all give this love at least once.

so, whether your heart has been broken or filled. whether you feel low or high. whether life decides to treat you like a prisoner or a king. you will feel something that you've never before. this will better you. and when it seems like it's crushing you, it's making you bigger. it's making your love, heart, care, head, and life better. we are young once. we make mistakes millions of times. narrowing problems is easy. learn and live. learn by your heartaches and live with love.
